Neurofeedback/Biofeedback

Brain health and function contribute to everything we do. Understanding the state of an individual’s neurophysiological functioning is the most effective solution to improving your focus and decreasing distractibility, eliminating stress and anxiety, and even beating depression.

What is Neurofeedback?

Neurofeedback (also called Neurotherapy or EEG Biofeedback) is a science that uses electronic monitoring equipment to measure brain waves. During the exercise, we will monitor unhealthy brain patterns and ask it to change that pattern. Over a course of training sessions, the brain will learn to better self-regulate and restore balance. Our main purpose of this assessment is to help your brain better adapt to stress and improve its performance.

What is Biofeedback?

In addition to Neurofeedback, which focuses solely on the brain and central nervous system, we offer biofeedback, which is a general term for a visual representation of how your brain responds to certain stressors. Using biofeedback, we monitor physiological measures such as brain waves, heart rate, breathing and skin temperature. Our licensed team then uses these results to recommend a custom treatment plan for your specific needs.

Changing unhealthy brain patterns can help bring positive changes in physical, emotional and cognitive functioning. Take advantage of what Brain Science Center and our Neurofeedback process can do for you and schedule a consultation today!
